The Australian Digital Alliance is excited to announce that its 2020 Copyright Forum will feature an opening address by the Hon Paul Fletcher MP, Member for Bradfield and Minister for Communications, Cyber Safety and the Arts.
The Minister only took over the copyright portfolio following this year’s election but has a long history of interest in area, having worked under former Senator Richard Alston when he had responsibilities in the area. He has a number of important copyright decisions before him, including recommendations from the ACCC’s Digital Platforms Review and the ongoing Copyright Modernisation Consultation. The Forum will provide the perfect opportunity for him to reflect on the Government’s ongoing copyright reform agenda.
In further good news, registration for the Forum is now open on Humanitix, with Earlybird prices until February. Register now so you don’t miss out on Australia’s foremost event focusing on copyright reform for Australia, with all the insight from our local and international experts.
