We are delighted to announce our first keynote session for the ADA Copyright Forum 2023. The keynote will be led by Cory Doctorow, an awarding winning science fiction author and activist, and Professor Rebecca Giblin, an ARC Future Fellow and Professor at Melbourne Law School, and the Director of the Intellectual Property Research Institute of Australia (IPRIA).
Cory and Rebecca will be discussing ideas from their recent publication Chokepoint Capitalism which examines the false dichotomy of ‘creators vs users’, the challenges for both creation and access when big tech and big content companies become too powerful, and ways to overcome these.
Join us in Canberra at the National Library of Australia for the ADA Copyright Forum, or online. Further program information will be announced shortly.
